In early November 2023, I got the very fortunate chance to develop a logo for the Chinese student association of California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo. The design is a simple pink and purple representation of the Hibiscus flower as it is the current symbol of the club. The overall main feeling that I tried to evoke with the logo was comfort and familiarity and I was able to achieve that by mimicking the style of typical Hawaiian flower shirts which often depict the hibiscus flower.
